Gyatt drop (22U) is actually a pretty damn good move. It's almost as good of a neutral skip as 236U. They really didn't give Anila too many new things but that's fine, she's not in a bad spot.

This game is a lot more fun and complex than people give it credit. The parries and perfect dodging really make this gam e fun. Anomaly Disorder is pretty much what allows low stat clears in Shiyu Defense.

Combo so long that the 22H gets off Cool Down to be used again in the same combo. You need to do a micro dash c.L into c.H link after the first 22H for the combo to work mid-screen.

The Vane 22U oki setplay is so satisfying. You refund enough meter so that you can loop it on every corner combo. It goes through Reversals but you do have to bait them but you're still heavily advantageous on block.

These combos make use of the Just Release mechanic built into the special H finisher. You hold and release the L button at the end of an H string to get a special combo finisher that wall bounces the opponent, opening more combo routes.

Same, if you could combo from td.M on regular hit then it would be worth it being Punishable on block. They hyped us up for nothing lol.
Yeah its a nerf as a pressure tool since its punishable, however I can't recall landing td.M as a normal hit much anyway. Most of the time it was either blocked or a counterhit since she relied on opponents attempting to mash out or else downback everything and very little inbetween.

After the non c.H td.M you can framekill the td.2M with itself and it it meaty at +8
Oh yeah, td.2M has always been pretty + on block but they gutted td.M. Sure it hits overhead and it can be made safe as a meaty and spaced but I liked it better when it was + on block, forced crouching, and was a great tool for throw baiting. It is what it is, they buffed pretty much all of her stuff so can't really complain. At least it will be great for closing round when the opponent has less than 1.3K HP left.
are these still mostly optimal after the update? id imagine that 214h changes allow for more powerful routes using J.H or is jd still more damaging?
I'll have to test it out. One thing is for sure: don't break the corner wall with Wild Assault anymore because it no longer grants hard knockdown.

How are you doing the combo at 0:17? The last DP whiffs for me, and I don't know why. The only thing i can think of is that I'm doing easy inputs and you seem to be doing manual, but I also thought that didn't affect combos like that
I use technical inputs for everything except DPs and the only thing that techincal inputs affect is the damage when done as combo starters or during links (not cancels). The only thing I can thing of is that you're hitting Combo Limit, make sure to end the combo exactly after the 2nd c.M because if you try it after 3rd c.M, you'll hit Combo Limit and the combo will automatically end.
Try her 22U corner combo. 11.4k damage with ssba ender

Why use L DP For an ender instead of M or H?
You get knockdown/more + frames if you end with it. I almost never finish combos with DP H in case I need to use it immediately after but the extra damage is nice if you need that combo to kill.

remember, critical hits stagger and put the QTE prompt. To make critical chances higher, let the retical shrink/focus when aiming. Shotguns almost always have crit regardless.

Yeah, at the very least, she can go into Rage mode off a f.S or a 2K. Pretty much everything combos in Rage mode, f.S > 2H and j.H are easy 50% HP combos.

Yea but you’re playing this on standard on this video, I can tell because you’re stunning the enemies with 1 shot to the head. Which is fine, but you don’t need to worry about partying as much on standard. I mean it’s helpful don’t get me wrong, but you have way more bullets on standard mode, so up-keeping your knife isn’t as much of a priority.
Which stance do more dps? 1) pink or blue stance full combo 2) Transcient pink or blue 3)Setsuna pink or blue?

Nice combo enders to setup the 22m, 22h and 22u. I have been able to pretty easily figure out the resource dump dmg combos but struggled a bit to figure out an ender to setup the 22h and 22u. These were nice setups and I'll be stealing them now thanks.
What do you do after the 22M, 22H, and 22U are set up?
@@Liliphant_ 22M acts as a puesdo corner while it's active letting you do corner combos midscreen on hit. If your opponent is in the corner 22M forcibly drags your opp away from the corner allowing you to do a real ambiguous cross up jump in (which in this game is countered by holding block button), 22M also basically removes any pushback from your buttons allowing you to do stuff like spamming jab on block or doing a 9 jab combo on hit. 22h is just a tool that keeps you plus when activated and turns any string that is special cancellable safe. 22u is so plus it let's you do a true high low 50 50 guess with pod jump to slow fall. it also does pretty good chip and gives you some nasty combos on hit.
Finally someone taught about those quick charge. The only time i know she can perform those are after perfect stance change. Very very new to to game and of course its no wonder she would be my first character to use my ccard on.

Nice and compact video. Do you have any tips for hitting the hammer ( 214H) in its sweet spot? Very often i think i hit too short or too far such that the opponent is knocked back and i cannot connect another 5HHH. For example in the 2nd combo ( 2H > 214H, 5HHH > 5MM ).
Getting the 214H off a non-hit 2H is super tricky. If you have the meter, it's probably better if you go into Raging Strike > Raging Chain. Slightly delay the 214H, that helped me out. In the corner, it's pretty much guaranteed if you do 236H, 2H > 214H. That hammer has a weird hit-box lol.

I'm currently taking a break from Relink to play Rising but it's the usual cookie cutter build. Damage Cap Vs, War Elemental, Crit Rate V then pretty much anything else, usually Supplemental Damage and Glass Cannon. Glass Cannon is super risky since if you get hit, you lose a lot of DPS time.

I really like to play Zeta but I personally believe she is too hard to use, in a training dummy you can do this successfully multiple times But on an actual hard fight where your concentration needs elsewhere and not to mention where enemy flies or jumps constantly, she really is quite impractical to main Just wished her timing was less strict.
The Loops get a lot easier to do if you equip Crimson's Flight. But yeah, they can be challenging to do if the boss moves around too much or you get interrupted by the SBA cut-scenes.

While Link Time the Perfect timing doesnt matter. You can just Spam the button. Just as a small pro. In General she is really cool even against „non doll“ enemies
It's just a practice goal, you can get good enough to just outright ignore entire bloodthirst phases with endless loops. If you are committed enough it's absolutely possible.
For a character that supposed to be good at constantly keeping up preasure she kinda struggle to stick on top of a mobile enemy or the one that can force her to reset a loop constantly. Her main problem will always present : 1) Take too long to start a loop without arvess 2) also take too long to close a loop with arvess hammer These 2 problem will feel most present in Gallanza/Mag duo fight where she hardly get to do her loop at all if Gallanza is alive. Her loop timing is not the hard part. She is a character that is strong when the enemy allow her to be, so feel free to pick her up for a fight that favor her style. Dont worry about it
There's also the Vengeful Flames tech - while the buff from Vengeful Flames is active, each Dive can hit a 2nd time shortly after the 1st hit (it doesn't deal additional damage), and if you use that 2nd hit instance to High Jump, it'll count as 2 dive loops for your Arvess Hammer - in other words, you'll be able to do Arvess Hammer after only 2 Dive Loops, instead of 3.
Oh damn, that sounds like a big DPS upgrade. I need to look into that.
It can also be done without Vengeful flame with a tradeoff of using crimson flight or crimson awakening sigil. That increase loop window allow her to do a high jump at the second tick without Vengeful buff but I understand that most people will prefer a more useful sigil slot like crimson clout+

@@Vashetrockner Nope, still works for me. If you don't have it equipped, equip Crimson's Flight, it'll be easier to pull off.

I don't have the crimson flight equipped, because i am quite comfortable with her timing, but it seems it is something about the frame timing that gets it triggered and not the double damage via her supplementary skill. Good to know, it is a good reason to try the sigil.
Really straightforward guide. Zeta is pretty much a simple yet hard to master character.
Yeah, characters with perfect timing mechanics usually require a bit more effort to learn but they're so fun.
